A safe and secure place to experience faith and nature.
Long Lake Foundation is a Christian-based organization nestled in the town of Long Lake, New York. Long Lake can be found squarely in the heart of Adirondack State Park (all 6.1 million acres of it) and is a popular summer spot for folks to go boating, fishing, water skiing, hiking, and other outdoor activities. When it’s cold, people go snowmobiling, ice fishing, skiing, ice skating, and even build giant snowmen.
Check out the town’s site at www.mylonglake.com. There’s always something going on.
Our organization was created to be an outreach to children and adults, providing a safe and secure place to experience faith and nature. We are home to fox, deer, black bears, moose, and tons of other wildlife as well as open river floodplains, large wetlands, and northern hardwood forests. While our retreat center is still in the planning phase, we are currently working with existing lodging facilities in the Long Lake area. We also have scholarships available to those who do not have the financial means.
